Lorne Scott has painted in oils, only, for the past thirty years. He has been a member of the Mississauga Art Society for twenty-five years.

Scott has exhibited at the Erindale College Gallery, the County of Peel Gallery in Brampton, and the Gallery on the Lake in Buckhorn, Ontario. He has studied under Ed Roche in Newfoundland.
